Take the holiday note down when the date has passed
Last-order banners are useful until they become wallpaper. A shop still promising Halloween on the twenty-ninth, or still closed for a fair that ended Sunday, teaches buyers not to read you.
When the date is gone, take the sentence down the same morning. If you are back at the table, say you are shipping again. If you need a quiet week after the rush, say that too — a new date, not the old one left to rot.
Doshe shops that feel alive are the ones whose notice matches the calendar. Update the door when you walk through it.
