Put the measurements in the listing, not in the fifth message

Doshe Journal

Most first questions are the same: how tall, how wide, how heavy, will it fit the shelf they already have. If those numbers are missing, you will type them until you resent the piece.

I write inches, then centimeters, then one familiar comparison — a mug, a paperback, a hand. That is not cold. That is the courtesy of not making them guess from a cropped photo.

Handmade shops on Doshe lose hours to measurements they already knew. Put them under the picture. Save the messages for the things a ruler cannot say.
