Name the material the way they will live with it

Doshe Journal

Poetic names for clay and fiber sound warm in a draft and useless in a search. People type the stuff the object is made of, then the use. Meet them there.

If it is stoneware, say stoneware. If the dye may fade in a south window, say so next to the care line, not in a footnote they will miss. Allergies, heat, and dishwashers are not mood. They are the second half of the sale.

A Doshe listing that names materials plainly gets fewer “is this real?” messages. The romance can live in the making. The words should survive a kitchen.
