A gift message is enough — skip the confetti
October and November fill with gifts. It is tempting to add tissue, tags, and a shower of paper that photographs well and becomes trash in someone else's kitchen.
I pack for the person opening it: protection that fits, a short note in my handwriting or a printed line that sounds like me, no glitter that migrates into a couch. If they asked for a gift message, that is the ceremony. The object is the rest.
A Doshe parcel should feel like it came from a studio, not from a party store. Kindness can be quiet and still arrive on time.
